What’s On Tap: Tom Albright of Out Haus Ales
I discovered craft beer in 1992. It wasn’t until 2005 that I discovered you can do it at home. Once I started, it was a rapid slide from hobby to obsession. By 2009 I was already looking to get into brewing on a professional level. At the time, I was looking for work at existing breweries, but most of what I was finding was either warehouse or sales positions, neither of which were what I wanted.
After learning more about New Hampshire’s nano-brewery license, and seeing other small breweries starting to open up around the state; I decided to take my business degrees and my love of brewing and open my own brewery. I got my State and Federal approval at the end of 2013, and released my first beers into the world in 2014.
