What’s On Tap: Michael Fairbrother of Moonlight Meadery
A world class, craft winery from Londonderry New Hampshire specializing in meads: wines made from honey. The diversity of the offerings often leaves people speechless, while the flavors have them asking for it at their local stores. Stop by to find out why “History never tasted so good”™. Try the oldest fermented beverage, “Romance By the Glass”®. Distributed nationwide both here in the United States, and Australia.
It all started back in 1995, when Michael, our founder and head mead maker, tried a cyser (apple and honey mead) for the first time. Since that first sip Michael has developed a passion, and a masterful skill at making international award winning meads. Michael Fairbrother has started Moonlight Meadery®, with a mission to bring ultra premium meads to the market place. It is more than a product and it is more than a process, it’s our obsession.
Our meads will be unique, and unlike anything you have ever tried, you will find it incredible! We are going to embrace the unique nature of natural honey as minimally processed as possible.

Draft Pick(s) of the Week:
Orange Blossom Mead
Each of our “Au Naturel” meads is made from a single varietal honey and is as unique as its floral source. This premium mead made from Orange Blossom honey features delicate citrus notes and you may even detect a touch of mint.
Destiny – Barrel Aged Desire
Enticing, complex blend of blueberries, black cherries and blackcurrants balanced with basic elements of mead; honey, water and yeast. Our Flagship mead, Desire is a must with cheeses, Italian dishes, rich saucy meat dishes, or with Belgian chocolates. This mead won first place out of 353 entries at the New England Regional Homebrew Competition.
We took the very last New Hampshire apples that were available to us, which we had fresh pressed into apple cider. This fresh cider was delivered the day it was pressed to our Meadery, where we blended it with True Source Honey and let it ferment, then we let it age in freshly emptied Jim Beam barrels that our friends at Allagash Brewing Company were able to help us with. The aging process took over 6 months. The ending result is oh so heavenly and oh so cherished. It’s not the like any of the other honey apple meads that we make, its got an entirely new label design, that we feel show cases every little detail about how precious this sweet honey

Jelly Belly Serves up World’s First Beer Flavored Jelly Bean!
When candy makers at Jelly Belly Candy Company set out to create the world’s first beer flavored jelly bean, the question wasn’t how; it was what. Ale or Lager? Stout? Lambic? Pilsner? In the end, the company opted to pay homage to its German ancestry with a Hefeweizen-inspired ale flavor, and Draft Beer Jelly Belly® jelly beans took shape. The new flavor will debut at Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco and ISM in Cologne, Germany. – See more at: HERE
